High signaling effect even during the day with 3M reflective films
The Diamond Grade 4080 series is a fluorescent reflective film that is also highly visible in daylight. This means that road users notice signs more quickly and have more time to react. This increases safety in road traffic.
The self-adhesive reflective film is available in the following colors:
- Yellow
- Lemon yellow
- orange
A fluorescent reflective film offers better visibility of traffic signs during the day, at dusk and in poor weather or light conditions. The 3M Diamond Grade reflective film ensures an excellent signaling effect at both long and short distances.
Suitable applications for fluorescent reflective films are primarily danger spots in road traffic. These can be, above all, detour signs, place name signs or all other locations where necessary directional signs must stand out as clearly as possible from their surroundings.
Approved by the Federal Highway Research Institute
Our fluorescent 3M Diamond Grade reflective film has been approved by the BASt for use on traffic signs (technical details: DIN 67520, RA3, C and DIN 6171, Part 1).
Note: The European standards were amended in 2007. The new reflection classes describe the minimum requirements for the reflective material with regard to the reflective value. The classification is RA1, RA2 and RA3. The 3M Diamond Grade 4090 series has reflectivity class RA3.
