Removable plotting & printing film for reflective advertising
A reflective film - or more precisely: retroreflective film - reflects incident, directed light back to the light source. Retroreflective film for advertising lettering in accordance with UN ECE 104 uses this effect to increase the visibility of poorly lit or hard-to-see vehicles (trucks, trailers, buses) at dusk and at night. As reflective vehicle advertising, reflective film ensures that brand messages on all vehicles attract maximum attention. Scotchlite 680 series reflective films with 3M™ Controltac™ Plus adhesive system for easy positioning are highly flexible, durable and retroreflective. The lightfast and dimensionally stable films can be processed into decorative emblems and graphics using both plotting and printing processes and are available in 11 colors.
The reflective films have the same color fastness by day and by night. They retain their functionality even in the rain and when viewed from acute angles. Scotchlite reflective films from the 680 series with 3M™ Comply™ Performance micro-air channels for convenient and bubble-free application are particularly suitable for use in vehicle advertising. They can be applied to smooth surfaces with and without rivets as well as to corrugated surfaces. The reflective films also withstand low temperatures without cracking or tearing.
