The translucent high-gloss silver film for illuminated advertising
The 3M Scotchcal Translucent High Gloss Silver Film 7755-520 was developed for illuminated advertising. It is typically applied to transparent substrates such as acrylic glass or PETg. The adhesive is transparent and permanently adhesive. This makes the film suitable for both front and back bonding on transparent substrates. During the day, the film resembles a high-gloss, chrome-plated or silver-plated metal surface. When illuminated at night, the film becomes highly transparent, so that the light color or the color of a translucent film applied behind it (e.g. white, red or blue) is visible almost unaltered. The film is also thermoformable (bonded to PETg substrates). This makes it ideal for creating three-dimensional logos and lettering that are characterized by a brilliant metallic sheen during the day and particularly bright and homogeneous illumination at night.
3M Scotchcal Translucent High Gloss Silver Film 7755-520 is intended for the following indoor and outdoor applications:
- Lettering, logos and emblems on transparent or translucent substrates, such as acrylic glass (PMMA) or PETg
- Three-dimensional thermoformed and logos on PETg (observe processing instructions!)
