3M Scotchcal™ IJ170Cv3 printing films are cost-effective, cast films with a permanent adhesive. The adhesive is dyed grey to cover high contrast substrates. The 3M Scotchcal™ IJ170Cv3 printing film was developed for use in vehicle and transportation advertising and achieves a functional life of up to 8 years. Series 170 CV3 films are equipped with the Comply™ adhesive system. The small air channels in the adhesive enable extremely fast, bubble-free, lay-safe application. Application even in light beads and over rivets.
The cast vinyl film can be printed using screen and digital printing processes and enables eye-catching designs, for example for company vehicle fleets or for private temporary "fun" applications. Thanks to 3M Comply v3 adhesive technology, the film can also be applied quickly and easily to three-dimensionally shaped surfaces: Trapped air can be smoothed out through micro air channels - resulting in bubble-free bonding and an absolutely smooth, paint-like appearance. Application professionals can achieve time savings of up to 20 percent.
