3M™ Scotchcal™ Film Photoluminescent VP1587-50 Yellow-Green (1.22m x 50m)

3M photoluminescent films series VP 1587 glow in the dark and are primarily designed for the production of safety signs or safety strips, e.g. to clearly indicate escape routes in hazardous situations (light failure). 3M photoluminescent films series VP 1587 are resistant to weathering, lightfast and dimensionally stable.

Luminance measured according to DIN 67510 Part 1, average illuminance 1000 lx, charging time 5 min:

VP 1587 - 30, after 10 min.: approx. 30 mcd/m², after 60 min.: approx. 4.2 mcd/m²
VP 1587 - 50, after 10 min.: approx. 50 mcd/m², after 60 min.: approx. 6.8 mcd/m²

Physical characteristics

• - Thickness (film and adhesive): 0.175 - 0.200 mm
• - Basis weight (film and adhesive): approx. 330 g/m²
• - Protective paper: white, siliconized on one side
• - Temperature resistance: - 40 °C to + 95 °C (bonded to aluminum)
• - Dimensional stability: shrinkage not measurable. (tested according to DIN 30646)
• - Storage: 2 years storage stability in cool, sun-protected rooms. A room temperature of approx. + 25 °C should not be exceeded if possible.
• - Salt spray test: 120 hours (DIN 50021 - SS) - no visible changes
• - Fungus: fungus-resistant, not fungus-promoting
• - Substrate corrosion: does not cause corrosion on the bonded substrate
• - Fire behavior: Test in accordance with DIN 75200 (determination of the fire behavior of materials used in vehicle interiors) in bonded and unbonded condition self-extinguishing < 5 seconds, does not drip off Test in accordance with

Resistance to chemicals and solvents:
Rough cleaning The film is resistant to most mineral oils and greases, fuels, aliphatic solvents, weak acids, salts and alkalis.

Shelf life:
Maximum 1 year after delivery by 3M and in compliance with the storage room conditions. Room temperature, dry, without direct sunlight. Temperature range : 20°C 24°C, humidity : 40% - 60% relative humidity Store film rolls flat with roll supports, sorted by date of receipt and color. Store film sheets flat, do not weigh down. Maximum stacking height: 100 mm
