The 3M 1080 Series Car Wrap Auto Film is our best-selling car wrap auto film, and equipped with advanced 3M adhesive technologies, the 3M 1080 Series Car Wrap Auto Film exceeds even the most difficult vehicle wrap requirements in the process. The pressure-activated Controltac™ adhesive system allows for easy positioning and repositioning, while Comply™ technology enables fast, bubble-free bonding. The small air channels in the adhesive enable fast, bubble-free, lay-safe bonding and are invisible from the film surface. After bonding, the adhesive strength picks up within a few hours. No later than 48 hours after application, the films sit firmly bonded to their substrate. Nevertheless, the 3M 1080 Series Car Wrap car film can be removed without residue even after years.
The 3M 1080 Series Car Wrap automotive film is a cast film and is multi-layered. The adhesive is colored gray to cover particularly high contrast substrates. The 0.11 mm thick film (including adhesive) provides the exact stability with very good initial adhesion. The 3M 1080 series car wrap car film is resistant to weathering and fuels.
