The ideal combination of sun protection in summer & insulation in winter
The 3M Amber 35 LE solar control & insulation film was developed for applications on the inside of single and double-glazed glass panes. In contrast to conventional sun protection devices, the film absorbs and reflects incoming heat rays, thus drastically reducing the effect of heat from outside. The even scattering of the sun's rays also leads to a drastic reduction in glare. In addition, harmful UV-A rays, the main cause of bleaching damage, are largely reduced. Their insulating effect lowers the Ug-value of glass panes and thus reduces heat loss. A great advantage, especially in winter.
You can look out from the inside but, depending on the light conditions, you are protected from prying eyes from outside. The tough, elastic polyester film with a scratch-resistant surface also prevents injuries from uncontrolled flying splinters in the event of glass breakage.
3M Window Films can be cleaned with conventional window cleaning agents 30 days after installation, provided they do not contain abrasives. Hard sponges, coarse cloths or brushes must not be used. Soft synthetic sponges, soft cloths or squeegees are recommended. 3M Window Films must never be cleaned dry. Please follow our detailed care instructions.
