Transparent, dichroic film for flowing color changes from deep pink to azure blue
The dichroic self-adhesive films from ASLAN turn glass and other flat surfaces into real eye-catchers. They are available in two transparent versions that change color smoothly - always depending on the viewing angle and lighting conditions.
The film should generally be applied dry. Wet application often avoids static electricity and makes positioning easier. However, in these cases we would like to point out that water can diffuse poorly through the polyester surface and must therefore be completely wiped out when squeegeeing. The ColourShift ASLAN SE 70 is only suitable for smooth, flat, inflexible, solid and non-curved surfaces. It must not be applied to outgassing surfaces, such as non-tempered acrylic glass, as bubbles may form, especially when exposed to heat for a short time. To ensure that the color effect of the film is shown to its best advantage, the surface to be bonded should be absolutely smooth and homogeneous and free of dust, grease and dirt. To minimize static charging of the film during application, work should be carried out in high humidity and the machines used, e.g. laminators, should be earthed (see also our notes on electrostatics). The covering should be removed as evenly as possible and in one piece. Slightly moistening the reverse side (cover) reduces static charges when removing the cover. If possible, a laminator or laminating table should be used for dry application.
Before processing, the film can be stored for at least 2 years from the date of manufacture. This period applies to proper storage at 15-25 °C and a relative humidity of 50-60 %. To avoid possible pressure marks, we recommend upright or hanging storage.
For wet application we recommend the transfer liquid ASLAN TL 10.
The film can be plotted with flatbed plotters or roll plotters with a 60° tangential blade.
