Opaque, dichroic film for flowing color changes
These four dichroic, self-adhesive films are as colorful as the images of our planets. The opaque films are mainly suitable for indoor applications and are perfect for eye-catching logo plots, lettering, slogans, wall tattoos and more. Different viewing angles and lighting conditions cause the colors to change smoothly and create great effects. The perfect film to make your business, exhibition stand, brand etc. stand out. These color variants are available:
- Aurora (pink to light blue)
- Alpha (magenta to yellow)
- Andromeda (copper to green)
- Plasma (dark blue to green)
The film must be applied dry. The ColourShift ASLAN SE 71 is only suitable for smooth, flat, inflexible, solid and non-curved surfaces. It must not be applied to outgassing surfaces, such as non-tempered acrylic glass, as bubbles may form, especially when exposed to heat for short periods. To ensure that the color effect of the film is shown to its best advantage, the surface to be bonded should be absolutely smooth and homogeneous and free of dust, grease and dirt. To minimize static charging of the film during application, work should be carried out in high humidity and the machines used, e.g. laminators, should be earthed (see also our notes on electrostatics). We recommend the application tape ASLAN TMO for bonding lettering etc.
The film has a limited outdoor durability and is therefore only recommended for indoor use. Due to the characteristics of the film, there may be areas where the dichroic effect is more pronounced. These spots occur randomly and ASLAN cannot guarantee that deliveries will have one or more of these spots.
The film can be plotted with flatbed plotters or roll plotters with a tangential knife with a 60° angle. The versal height of lettering should be at least 40 mm with a web width of 6 mm.
