The Cad-Cut® SportsFilm from Stahls is a classic and durable flex film with an adhesive polyester backing. The textile film is not just any flex film. In fact, Cad-Cut SportsFilm from Stahls is one of the fastest flex films in the world: the transfer film can be printed on in just 5 seconds and the backing can be removed hot. In addition, the Cad-Cut SportsFilm flex film impresses its users with its high opacity, matt finish, easy cutting and weeding. Due to the wide range of colors and its easy application with maximum opacity, the transfer film is ideal for multi-colored prints on cotton, polyester and polyester-cotton blends.
Proofing & care instructions for Stahl's Cad-Cut SportsFilm
In addition to its outstanding quality and opacity, users particularly appreciate the easy installation and care of the Stahls Cad-Cut SportsFilm. As with all textile films, you should test the cutting settings of your plotter before printing on Stahls Cad-Cut SportsFilm. These are highly dependent on the age of the blade used and should always be set individually for each transfer film to ensure ideal results. We also recommend that you only plot logos with a minimum line thickness of 1 mm.
Printing instructions for Stahl's Cad-Cut transfer film:
- Temperature: 130° C / 150° C
- Time: 10 sec. / 5 sec.
- Pressure: Medium
- (#4-6 with Hotronix®)
- Carrier: Hot peel
For multi-colored motifs, print the background for 3-5 seconds and peel off the backing of the transfer film cold. Repeat this process for each additional color. Ideally, print the last color for 13-15 seconds before finally peeling off the backing hot.
Care instructions:
- Washable up to 60° C
- Do not use fabric softener or bleach
- Suitable for tumble drying on a gentle setting
- Can be ironed over directly.
