We are pioneers in the online sale of films

Foliencenter24 is a pioneer in the online sale of films, especially in the cutting of materials to size. The 3M DI-NOC film series, which we have had in our range since 2008, should be mentioned first and foremost. The glossy version of the ever-popular 3M DI-NOC carbon film was produced exclusively for us back in 2010. In the meantime, this carbon film has also been incorporated into the manufacturer's permanent portfolio.

Of course, we have since added more than just carbon films and other manufacturers to our regular range. Whether you need car films, print media for large format printing or textile transfer, car wrapping films, sun protection films, glass design films, color films, plotter films, accessories, tools or workshop equipment for advertising technology: Our extensive and constantly expanding range offers films and accessories in all categories. Milestones of the company

We at Foliencenter24 are proud of our company history, and as the second generation we would like to take this opportunity to look back. Follow our milestones from the beginning to the present day.

1973 The origins

The family of the founding managing director of Foliencenter24 has been operating as a certified specialist company for the professional installation of sun protection films since 1973. From day one, the company has been an authorized 3M partner for film solutions. The family thus runs what is probably the oldest company of its kind in Europe and, to the best of our current knowledge, the second oldest in the world. To this day, the company continues to operate very successfully as an independent company, also in the second generation.

2008 Fast forward to online retail

As early as June 2008, in the Wild West era of the Internet, the first online sales are made via trading platforms such as eBay and Amazon. The trade name "Foliencenter24" is created and is soon on everyone's lips.

2009 The first online shop

The development of the first own online store begins in 2008 and is launched in the course of 2009. This makes Foliencenter24 one of the first online stores for self-adhesive films and accessories. In the same year, we were certified with the TrustedShops seal of approval for trustworthy online shopping.

2013 Generation change

Online sales have changed dramatically since the start. There is a formal hype about "car wrapping" films. Foliencenter24 is therefore transformed into a separate company in order to better meet the growing demand and the constantly changing market. Foliencenter24 e-Commerce GmbH is founded as the operating company.

2015 To the state capital of Saarland

In 2015, the company moves into new business premises in the heart of Saarbrücken, the state capital of Saarland. The new premises create the opportunity to significantly expand the product range and increase availability. Since then, we have been offering our customers the opportunity to collect their goods from us themselves via Click & Collect. With complete success: over 2,000 customers took the opportunity to visit us on site in 2019 alone. Speaking of which, the coffee on site and the chat are still free.

2020 The new "Roaring Twenties"

After 2 years of planning and a development phase of around 9 months, we are technically entering a completely new decade in May 2020. We hope you enjoy our new platform and look forward to being able to offer you even better, faster service and the usual high-quality products in an even greater variety.

2023 15 years of Foliencenter24

It's hard to believe, but in July 2023 Foliencenter24 will actually be celebrating its 15th anniversary! Crazy, isn't it? Where have all these years gone so quickly? We are celebrating our anniversary with our customers and will be starting the next few years in late summer 2023 with a technically improved online store.

After more than 15 years of online experience (as of July 2023) and hundreds of thousands of shipments delivered, we are more motivated than ever to find out what the coming years will bring for Foliencenter24.
